PURPOSE: A simplified electronic navigation chart system and manufacturing method of the simplified electronic navigation chart are provided to create a low-capacity simplified electronic navigation chart by digitalizing only necessary information after scanning a paper navigation chart and to automatically perform geographic calculations such as latitude/longitude, a distance, and a bearing of a specific location of the navigation chart by using the simplified electronic navigation chart. CONSTITUTION: A simplified electronic navigation chart system comprises a scanning unit(300), a navigation chart converting unit(400), a storing unit(500), a display unit(600), a bridge navigation device interface unit(700). The scanning unit scans a paper navigation chart. The navigation chart converting unit completes a simplified electronic navigation chart by digitalizing scan images scanned the paper navigation chart. The storing unit stores the scan images and simplified electronic navigation chart. The display unit displays the simplified electronic navigation chart. The bridge navigation device interface unit displays information of a ship or opposite object transmitted from a bridge navigation device by overlapping on the simplified electronic navigation chart.
