PURPOSE: A matching system and a matching method for connecting an ideal match by using a gene analysis are provided to selectively arrange a meeting with members of opposite sex who are genetically distant, thereby implementing a high marriage success rate. CONSTITUTION: A gene information input unit(110) receives gene information of a male member and a female member. A gene information analysis unit(151) receives the gene information from a gene information database(181) and calculates gene distance between members of opposite sexes. A score calculation unit(154) assigns a high score to members who are genetically distant. A matching unit(155) selects a combination to meet corresponding to the score between the members of opposite sexes. An information providing unit(160) provides match information to the selected male member and female member.
