PURPOSE: A fitting type coupler for a spiral or deformed reinforcing bar is provided to couple spiral reinforcing bars by fitting a coupler to the sides of the reinforcing bars without rotation, and tightening the reinforcing bars with a tightening cover, thereby simplifying connection work for the reinforcing bars and firmly connecting the reinforcing bars.;CONSTITUTION: A fitting type coupler(100) for a spiral or deformed reinforcing bar includes a coupler body(10), a tightening cover(20), and a nut(30). The coupler body has a first and a second threaded portion(11,12), and a spiral nut fastening portion(15). A first and a second reinforcing bar(1,2) are respectively fit and coupled to the inner circumferential surfaces of the first and the second threaded portions. The nut is fastened to the outer circumferential of the nut fastening portion. The tightening cover covers the opening portion of the coupler body, and binds the first and the second reinforcing bars together along with the coupler body. The nut pressurizes the tightening cover towards the first and the second reinforcing bars, and binds the coupler body and the tightening cover.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
