PURPOSE: A pointer displacement calculation method of a pointing device using a touch sensor is provided to output the point displacement of high resolution by outputting the pointer displacement based on a coordinate of a connecting point which is accurately calculated.;CONSTITUTION: A touch sensor value outputted from touch sensors is gradually read in fixed time(S10). The corrected touch sensor values are gradually outputted by reducing offset in the touch sensor value(S20). When the corrected touch sensor value is greater than a reference value, an activated connecting signal is outputted for determining the connection of a connection target(S30). The offset is updated by determining the corrected touch sensor values when the connecting signal is inactivated(S40).
