Promoter producing a target protein specifically in plant guard cells

PURPOSE: A promoter which is expressed in guard cells and a recombinant expression vector containing the same are provided to enhance various environmental stress resistance. CONSTITUTION: A promoter for target protein-specific expression in plant leaves has a base of sequence number 1. The part of the plant leaves is guard cells. A recombinant expression vector contains a promoter for target protein-specific expression and a structural gene encoding the target protein. A transformant prepared by the expression vector is E.coli, Bacillus subtilis, Streptomyces, Pseudomonas, Proteus mirabilis, Staphylococcus, or Agrobacterium tumefaciens.
