摘要

Provided are a polyester film for a gas barrier which is excellent in gas barrier property and the easiness of processing and is high in transparency, an organic electroluminescent display substrate containing the polyester film, and an electron paper substrate containing the polyester film. The polyester film is provided with a coating layer formed on at least one surface of a base film comprising polyester, wherein the coating layer comprise 50-80 wt% of a co-polyester resin, 10-30 wt% of a poly(vinyl alcohol) and 3-25 wt% of a fine particle. The polyester film has a transmittance of 85 % or more and a haze of 1.5 % or less. Preferably the co-polyester resin has a glass transition temperature of 20-90 deg.C; the poly(vinyl alcohol) has a degree of saponification of 74-90 mol%; and the fine particle has an average diameter of 20-100 nm.
