PURPOSE: A method for refining high-silicon hot metal is provided to refine hot metal containing a high content of silicon at reduced risk of slopping. CONSTITUTION: A method for refining high silicon hot metal comprises the steps of: charging high-silicon hot metal into a converter and implementing first blowing(S10), completing the first blowing when reaching a predetermined silicon concentration in the hot metal and tapping the hot metal through a tapping hole of the converter(S20), recharging the tapped hot metal into the emptied converter(S30), implementing second blowing on the hot metal recharged in the converter(S40), and tapping the hot metal through the tapping hole secondly(S50).
