PURPOSE: A limit switch for controlling the operating range of a facility is provided to increase working speed by rotatably forming a cover part at a main body part.;CONSTITUTION: A limit switch for controlling the operating range of a facility comprises a main body part(110), a rotary shaft(120), limit switches(130,130'), contact members(140,140'), a cover part(150), a control means(160). The cover part switches the upper part of the main body part(110). The control means supplies and blocks power of a facility according to the switching of the cover part. A connection hole(152) rotatably connects the cover part to the main body part. The hole(153) for switching is connected to the connection hole with a hinge pin(151).
