PURPOSE: A femtosecond laser device for efficient optical pumping of an anisotropic medium is provided to easily control a location of laser medium without affecting a laser wavelength or a beam shape. CONSTITUTION: A laser medium assembly(130) includes laser medium(LC) and a laser medium mount supporting the laser medium. The laser medium assembly is assembled to a module engagement rod(101) extended to an optical axis and forms a focusing lens(FL), dichroic mirrors(DM1, DM2) and an integration type optical pumping module(100) with the module engagement rod. The laser medium assembly controls a location in the optical axis direction and controls the location of the laser medium mount along the module engagement rod. The laser medium mount includes connection blocks(132,133) engaged with the module engagement rod and a support block(134) supporting the laser medium while being assembled with the connection block.
