PURPOSE: A pre-/post-processing method for three dimensional finite volume analysis is provided to express the surface of a structure as triangular meshes using multiple triangles, thereby presenting realistic analysis results of fluid flows. CONSTITUTION: A pre-processing method for three dimensional finite volume analysis comprises the steps of: making the surface of a structure into multiple three-dimensional grid cells which form triangular meshes(S210); acquiring section curves, the intersection points or lines which are formed by intersections in three-dimensional orthogonal planes with the triangular meshes of the structure(S220); extracting boundary cells, the gird cells being intersected with the surface of the structure(S230); generating a patch boundary on a plane of each boundary cell, which is generated by intersection of each boundary cell with boundary planes of the structure, by applying the section curves on the tree-dimensional orthogonal planes to each grid cell; and cutting the exterior portion of the structure using the patch boundary.
