PURPOSE: A river topography interpolation method using a fractal technique based on erosion and a computer-readable recording medium thereof are provided to generate fractal topography based on the erosion with a fix node of a large river basin, thereby scientifically managing water based on precision topography data. CONSTITUTION: 2D or 3D topography is generated on a boundary side between a river bed and a river channel by utilizing base section measurement data and applying a random fractal technique. Section topography between sections of a river is interpolated. Basis topography for fractal application is constructed. A fractal technique based on erosion is applied to the basis topography by reflecting a river topography feature value and utilizing a statistics technique.
