PURPOSE: A dryer for dehumidifying high temperature damp air using a heat pipe and removing bad smell is provided to prevent the discharge of air pollutants by a environment-friendly processing technology. CONSTITUTION: A dryer for dehumidifying high temperature damp air and removing bad smell comprises a steam generator(10), a drying unit(20), a heat pipe heat exchanger(30), a combustion device(40), and a waste heat recovery unit(50). The dryer dries food garbage using high temperature steam from the steam generator. The heat pipe heat exchanger dehumidifies high temperature damp air discharged from the dryer. The combustion device removes the bad smell by burning some of dehumidified air discharged from the heat pipe heat exchanger. The waste heat recovery unit uses heated air before the outdoor air flows into the dryer as the outdoor air flows into the dryer after being heated by the high temperature air.
