System of searching similar weather map by principle component analysis and the method thereof

The present invention relates to a system for searching for similar weather maps through the analysis of a main component. The system includes: a past weather map database storing at least one weather-related component for a specific region on a map, especially in a plurality of past weather map materials, as digital data; a unit for generating a base weather map which calculates an original vector, through the analysis of a main component, from the digital data for each weather-related component stored in the past weather map database in order to generate a base weather map matrix; a unit for calculating a decomposition matrix to calculate the encoding matrix of a search target weather map from the generated base weather map matrix; a unit for calculating an encoding matrix which calculates the data of each past weather map stored in the past weather map database with the deposition matrix calculated from the unit for calculating the deposition matrix in order to calculate the encoding matrix for each past weather map; an encoding matrix database mapping the encoding matrix for each past weather map calculated from the unit for calculating an encoding matrix into an identifier for corresponding past weather map information and storing the mapped resu and a unit for searching for similar weather maps, which calculates an encoding matrix by calculating a search target weather map using the deposition matrix, and which compares the calculated encoding matrix for a corresponding search target weather map with each encoding matrix for each past weather map stored in the encoding matrix database in order to search for the most similar past weather map.
