PURPOSE: An estimating method for reduction degradation corresponding to a reduction temperature inside a blast furnace is provided to estimate a degradation property of a sintered ore for each position inside a blast furnace by estimating a reduction degradation property corresponding to a wide range of temperatures. CONSTITUTION: An estimating method for reduction degradation corresponding to a reduction temperature inside a blast furnace comprises the following: The reduction temperature is input(S1). The temperature span corresponding to the reduction temperature is designated(S2). Particle size degradation data corresponding to the input reduction temperature is calculated by linear interpolation after reduction based on particle size data after reduction of a boundary value of a corresponding temperature section when the particle size data after reduction corresponds to a boundary value of a predetermined temperature section exists(S3). The particle size degradation data corresponding to the input of the reduction temperature is calculated by the amount of change in particle-size data in the most adjacent section when the particle size data after reduction does not exist(S4). The particle size degradation data after reduction is estimated by an initial particle size decreased to calculated data for particle size after reduction(S5).
