MEASURING APPARATUS OF FROST HEAVING PRESSURE FOR EARTH AND SAND

PURPOSE: A device for testing frost heaving pressure in soils is provided to test the frost heaving pressure in soils to consider the frost heaving pressure in soils consisting of the ground for a stability analysis and whole number of design when designing an underground structure in a frozen soil region. CONSTITUTION: A device for testing frost heaving pressure in soils comprises a soil container(10), a freezing unit, and a measuring unit(30). The soil container is filled with a test sample. The freezing unit freezes the test sample inside the soil container. The measuring unit measures the frost heaving pressure of the test sample in frozen soils. The freezing unit is installed to be contacted to the test sample inside the soil container by using refrigerant.
