PURPOSE: A water treating apparatus using plants is provided to prevent water bloom near water, keep water clean and treated even in winter when water is frozen. CONSTITUTION: A water treating apparatus using plans comprises a surface water treating part (10) and a center holding structure (20). The surface water treating part comprises a net body, a cylindrical or elliptical floating body which is made of a floating material, a covering part and the first linking members which are connected to the center holding structure. At least one floating body equipped on the net body is inserted to a storing part and comprises several passing holes in a vertical way. The passing holes are arranged in the same distance. The covering part comprises several garden holes which are connected to the passing holes. The first linking member is equipped in both sides of the net body at the same distance.
