PURPOSE: A method for providing single interface of a home media system in multiple device environment is provided to provide device connection information, by inputting information about media kind or task to be executed through a specific device, and information about user preference, when a user wants to connect the specific device to the home media system. CONSTITUTION: A home media system receives restriction information defining user requirement about a connection target device from a user, and collects device configuration plan (S20). The system evaluates efficiency for the collected device configuration plan, and selects one of the collected configuration plans. The system constitutes a screen to guide the selected device configuration plan, and displays the screen through single interface (S30).
