PURPOSE: A deodorization apparatus for the drainage system and a method thereof are provided to increase the bad smell removal efficiency by microbubbles within a cleaning unit, and to be able to prevent corrosion and contamination of the inside of the cleaning unit. CONSTITUTION: A deodorization apparatus for the drainage system comprises a main frame (100); a plasma processing unit (200); an adsorption decomposition unit (300); and a cleaning unit (400); and a water tank (500). The adsorption decomposition unit removes bad smells in the air which has been processed by the plasma processing unit, by using an adsorbent material. The cleaning unit sprays water to the air which has been processed by the adsorption decomposition unit, or removes bad smells in the air with microbubbles.
