PURPOSE: A sintered ore having enhanced breathability and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to lower negative pressure and increasing air volume of exhaust gas by increasing the particle size of top ore, thereby preventing a mixture of raw materials from fusing down on a sinter cart, and enhancing the productivity of sintered ore. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a sintered ore comprises a step of placing top ore having a particle size in the range of 20 to 45mm on a sinter cart; a step of placing a mixture including coke powder and anthracite on the top of the top ore; a step of sintering the mixture by combustion heat of the coke powder after igniting the mixture of surface layer by letting the sinter cart carrying the top ore and the mixture continuously pass though an ignition hood. The coke powder has a particle size in the range of 2.50 to 2.80mm. The anthracite has a particle size in the range of 2.40 to 2.60mm. The top ore bed inserted into the sintering machine is 110 to 125mm. The gap between great bars arranged in the sinter cart is 5mm.
