FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM FOR COMBAT VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A fire extinguishing system of the combat vehicle equipment is provided to have the connector compatibility with the fire extinguishment equipment installed at a combat vehicle which occupies 95%, and to be able to implement the self-diagnosis function. CONSTITUTION: A fire extinguishing system of the combat vehicle equipment comprises an engine room (10) and a crew cabin (18). The fire extinguishing system of the combat vehicle equipment comprises a fire detection line (12) capable of self-diagnosis which is installed in the engine room, and comprises a 3-line-3-pin connector detecting the overheating state of the engine room or fire; plural fire sensors (20a,20b) capable of self-diagnosis which are installed in the crew cabin, and comprise a 4-line-6-pin connector detecting fire generated at the crew cabin; a control unit (16) which controls the fire signal input from the fire sensors and the fire detection line, and the abnormality on a real time basis; and plural fire extinguishers (14a,14b,22a,22b) capable of self-diagnosis which are installed in the crew cabin, and comprise a 3-line-4-pin connector spraying the fire extinguishing agent in response to the signal transmitted from the control unit. The fire detection line, the fire sensors and the fire extinguishers performs the self-diagnosis function whether or not the fire detection line, the fire sensors and the fire extinguishers work normally while exchanging the input-output signals with the control unit on a real-time basis.
