PURPOSE: A transgenic plant with enhanced resistance to environmental stress using Arabidopsis thaliana FK506-binding protein 16-1 (AtFKBP16-1) gene is provided to be used as a basic knowledge in related fields by initially identifying the location in a photosystem protein complex and a functional bond with interacting proteins. CONSTITUTION: A method for regulating resistance to dry or oxidative stress in Arabidopsis thaliana plant comprises the step of transforming a recombinant vector to Arabidopsis thaliana plant cells. The recombinant vector contains AtFKBP16-1 gene derived from Arabidopsis thaliana, containing a base sequence of sequence number 1. The method further comprises the step of re-differentiating Arabidopsis thaliana plants from the transformed Arabidopsis thaliana plant cells.
