PURPOSE: A modulation method for a medical in-body wireless body area network (WBAN) system, an apparatus thereof, a demodulation method, and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce a signal to noise Ratio (SNR) loss which is shown in group pulse position modulation (GPPM) by grouping a Manchester code based on the grouping of the GPPM. CONSTITUTION: A symbol mapping unit (1610) comprises a Hamming distance determining unit and an arrangement unit. The symbol mapping unit produces a symbol mixture by grouping a Manchester code. The symbol mapping unit maps information which is wanted to transmit with the symbol mixture. A transmission unit (1630) transmits the symbol mixture which is mapped to a demodulation apparatus.
