ADVANCED METHOD FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND METHOD FOR EXCESSIVE SLUDGE DEGRADATION TREATMENT, USING IMMOBILIZED CARRIER

A wastewater treatment method which enables a tank to be miniaturized, and is inexpensive by reducing the extraction amount of excessive sludge is provided. A wastewater treatment method with a low extraction amount of excessive sludge comprises: preparing an aeration tank in which wastewater comes in contact with carrier particles under aerobic conditions, a complete oxidation tank for reducing volume of sludge generated in the aeration tank under aerobic conditions, and facilities for solid-liquid separation of sludge discharged from the complete oxidation tank; allowing sludge flown into the complete oxidation tank to maintain a self-oxidation coefficient of 0.05 L/day or more; and adding a coagulant into the complete oxidation tank to improve the solid-liquid separation property of the sludge discharged from the complete oxidation tank.
