PURPOSE: An activating unit for a solid aerosol fire extinguishing device and a solid aerosol fire extinguishing device having the same are provided to heat a heating wire to a high temperature for a certain time within the limit of battery capacity, thereby improving the efficiency of firing an igniting material and combusting a fire extinguishing material. CONSTITUTION: An activating unit for a solid aerosol fire extinguishing device comprises a power supplying unit and a connecting unit. The connecting unit connects the power supplying unit to an igniting material by a heating wire. The connecting unit ignites an igniting material as it receives power from the power supplying unit. The heating wire is heated by the received power. The power supplying unit is movable according to an external signal and is a battery unit having a certain power capacity.
