PURPOSE: A method for estimating combustibility of pulverized coal in a furnace is provided to stably increase the output of blast furnace by estimating the combustibility of pulverized coal. CONSTITUTION: A method for estimating combustibility of pulverized coal in a furnace comprises following steps. The content of non-burning materials included in pulverized coal is calculated (100). A coke sample in the furnace is collected through a blast inlet for blast furnace (200). A powdered coal sample is separated from the collected coke same (600). The content of the non-burning materials included in the powdered coal sample is calculated (400). The combustibility of the powdered coal sample using the content of the non-burning materials (500).
