PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for channel estimation using over-sampling in SC-FDMA based mobile telecommunication system are provided to improve the reception performance and to effectively control the interference of other users. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for channel estimation using over-sampling in SC-FDMA based mobile telecommunication system comprises a code compensation unit(171), an over-sampling unit(172), an IFFT unit(173), a filtering unit(174), an FFT unit(175), and a channel estimating unit(176). The code compensation unit forms a compensation signal which compensates the RS(reference signal) symbol signal including the user signal different from the object signal with the reference signal(DM RS) with code. The over-sampling unit forms a sampling signal by over-sampling the compensation signal. The IFFT unit forms a delay signal by performing an inverse fast Fourier transform to the sampling signals. The filtering unit forms a filtering signal of the time domain where the other user signal is processed as a constant value by filtering the delay signal. The FFT unit forms a filtering signal of the frequency domain by transforming the filtering signal of the time domain with high speed Fourier transformation. The channel estimating unit estimates the channel of the object signal in the filtering signal of the frequency domain.
