THE SYSTEM AND THE METHOD FOR MONITORING ILLEGAL STOPPING AND PARKING VEHICLES USING AN OMNIDIRECTIONAL CAMERA

PURPOSE: An illegal parking and stopping monitoring system with an omnidirectional camera and a method thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of illegal parking and stopping vehicle monitoring by detecting a plurality of channels using the omnidirectional camera with a fisheye lens. CONSTITUTION: One end of a first crossbar (200) is connected to the upper part of a post (100). An omnidirectional camera (330) is installed at the other end of the first crossbar. An omnidirectional camera photographs a no parking and stopping zone in all directions using the fisheye lens. A pan tilt zoom camera (320) is installed at the other end of the first crossbar. If a control unit detects a vehicle which illegally parks or stops, the control unit directs the pan tilt zoom camera to pan, tilt or zoom and to photograph the plate of the vehicle.
