PURPOSE: An instrument for in-tunnel accident situation recognition or judgment based on acoustic signal processing is provided to minimize unstable accident judgment and error by automatically judging a location and a type of accident. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit (220) detects traffic condition in a tunnel. The sensor unit includes more than one acoustic sensor for collecting or detecting an acoustic signal in the tunnel. A server (210) receives information about the traffic condition, processes information about the traffic condition and recognizes or judges an accident situation in the tunnel.
