PURPOSE: A super slurry type shield tunneling machine and a super slurry type propulsion method are provided to facilitate to connect a small diameter member with a smaller diameter than a shield tunneling machine in a rear side and to simply expand the diameter of the shield tunneling machine. CONSTITUTION: A super slurry type shield tunneling machine(10) comprises a body(20) and a cutter(30). The outer circumference of the cutter is detachably attached with a cutter expansion diameter member. The outer circumference of the body is detachably attached with a body expansion diameter member. The cutter and body expansion diameter members are separately joined using bolts. A super slurry type propulsion method is performed by propelling a propulsion pipe with a size for corresponding to the expanded diameter of the shield tunneling machine to the rear side of the shield tunneling machine.
