SYNCHRONIZATION DEVICE OF SPATIAL INFORMATION BETWEEN BIM-GIS AND SYNCHRONIZATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A device for connecting space information between building information model-geographic information systems (BIM-GIS) and a method thereof are provided to use a mapping metadata model capable of mapping attribute information, thereby increasing the interoperability of BIM information and GIS information. CONSTITUTION: A GIS information analysis unit (110) loads and parses GIS information. A mapping metadata analysis unit (120) loads and parses the mapping metadata of an extensible markup language (XML) type which is an information query language. The mapping metadata analysis unit extracts a mapping rule for the connection between the GIS information and the BIM information which is included in the mapping metadata. A BIM data request unit (130) receives BIM data corresponding to the mapping rule from a BIM model server. A GIS information integration unit integrates the BIM data as the attribute information of the GIS information.
