PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing natural products for contracting pores and suppressing sebum secretion is provided to effectively prevent pore enlargement. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for reducing pore size or suppress sebum secretion contains a Mentha arvensis L. var. piperascens MALINV. leaf extract and a wheat sprout extract as active ingredients, mixed in a weight ratio of 1-10:1-10. The extracts are prepared using water, alcohol of C1-C3, or a mixture thereof. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a cream, a skin softener, an astringent, a milk lotion, a foundation, a soap, or a cleansing foam. An external use pharmaceutical composition for treating and relieving acne contains 1-30 wt% of the extracts as active ingredients.
