PURPOSE: An outdoor unit for a heat pump including a dual coil having a dual pipe structure and an alternating heat pump utilizing the outdoor unit and the operation method of the same are provided to secure stable condensation capability although condensation efficiency decreases due to increase of outside temperature. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit for a heat pump including a dual outdoor unit coil having a dual pipe structure includes dual outdoor coils(250-1,250-2). Each dual outdoor unit coil has an independent refrigerant circuit, and installed in parallel. Each outdoor unit coil is formed to have a dual pipe having an independent refrigerant circuit, and operates as a condenser or a compressor by selection. The dual pipe comprising an outdoor coil includes outer pipes(260-4) and inner pipes(260-5). A high temperature and high pressure gas phase refrigerant or a low temperature and low pressure refrigerant passes through the outer pipe.
