PURPOSE: A music history service method, a portable terminal, and a recording medium thereof are provided to allow a user to listen the same music again by matching music history information with a position in which the user listened to the music. CONSTITUTION: A sound source service application(50) provides a sound source service. A history storing unit(15) stores music history information matched with the position information of a user and information for a music file reproduced by the sound source service application. When a predetermined condition is satisfied, a terminal control unit(30) provides the music history information stored in the history storage unit to the sound source service application in order to display the sound history information.
