A method of interaction between a client system (CS) and a network domain, wherein the CS includes an aggregator function for distributing the load of incoming traffic originating from the CS through two or more parallel communication channels from the communication link aggregation group (LAG), the method comprising the steps of on which: provide a set of two or more peer-to-peer border nodes of the network domain, each of the set of peer-to-peer border nodes includes: a local LAG port, which is the host for the corresponding LAG communication channel connected to CS; and at least one port that is the host for the inter-node trunk channel connecting the node to each other from the set of peer-to-peer border nodes; calculate the corresponding path through the network domain from each peer border node to at least one predefined destination address for transferring traffic to or from CS; and at each peer edge node, the forwarding state is set so that: incoming traffic received from the CS is forwarded through the path to at least one predetermined destination address; outgoing traffic destined for CS is forwarded to the CS through the local LAG port if the local LAG port is operational and otherwise through the inter-node trunk channel to another from the set of peer-to-peer border nodes. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the calculation of the path through the network domain comprises the steps of: calculating a set of two or more equivalent paths from any given peer-to-peer border node to at least one predetermined destination address
