FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical-pharmaceutical and food industry and specifically to production of powdered and encapsulated forms of preparations, having antihypoxic and antioxidant action. The molecular complexes are capable of solubilisation in water and are more stable (protected from oxidation) compared to water-insoluble and rapidly oxidisable free reduced coenzyme Q10. Also disclosed is a method of producing said substance, which contains "reduced coenzyme Q10 - β-cyclodextrin" complexes, which comprises consecutive steps of (i) obtaining a reduced form of coenzyme Q10 in the presence of excess ascorbic acid; (ii) mixing the reaction solution obtained at step (i) with aqueous solution of β-cyclodextrin to obtain molecular inclusion complexes; (iii) cooling and crystallising the mixture obtained at step (ii) and removing solvent and water.;EFFECT: substance obtained according to the present invention is a biologically active powdered form of sufficiently stable molecular inclusion complexes of the reduced coenzyme Q10 in β-cyclodextrin with particle size of up to 70-100 mcm, which is tenfold less capable of oxidation compared to free reduced coenzyme Q10 and is easily transferred in an aqueous solution into a solubilised form with particle size of 200-700 nm.;15 cl, 5 ex
