FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail-mounted structures. Rail connection element, a rail foot expander, is formed strip at robotised line. Strip ends are milled to accurately align centers of holes with milled strip end and to perforate said strip by set of stamps using the master plate. Strip is automatically perforated over its entire length and fed station of bending and group gaging. Robot is used to form cross-section of rail foot expander by double lengthwise strip overbending. Holes are gaged, in automatic mode accurately at precise spacing, by broach bit. Then, sand blasting is performed to carry rail foot expander to ganging it up with rail. Robot board is used to fit rail foot into rail expander and directed to robotised assembly complex to align aforesaid holes in foot expander and two channels. Said holes are fixed, additionally gages in automatic control over robot, high-strength alloyed studs or bolts are fitted therein locked to make one-piece rail unit.;EFFECT: higher robustness of under-rail zone of crane girder walls, simplified assembly.;5 dwg
