The method and the device of intelligent power saving are proposed, according to which they measure coolant temperature at the inlet and outlet of an energy-saving object, the coolant mass is measured for certain period of time, they determine quantity of energy consumed by the object. Serially they measure values of temperature at opposite sides of the structure, thermal flow on the inner side of the structure and outer side of the structure on the opposite side. They determine resistance of heat transfer of a multi-layer structure in the point of controlled section of the investigated object surface for each interval of measurement. Thermal imaging is done by measurement of temperature field of the surface with a space period determined by dimensions of minimum defect of the structure. The given resistance to heat transfer is detected along entire surface of the investigated object in arbitrary coordinates. Excessive heat losses are detected.
