FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical, mechanical and aviation industry and a method of obtaining coatings with improved tribological (tribotechnical) properties. The coating is obtained from a composition based on a polytetrafluoroethylene suspension coupled with lacquer of polyamidoacid, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, a paste of inorganic filling materials, an emulsifier, solvents and water. The paste of inorganic filling materials used is an aqueous paste based on soot, an aqueous paste based on nanodiamonds and an aqueous paste based on mica. The coating can consist of multiple layers, each subjected to drying, step-by-step preliminary heat treatment, followed by application of a force to the half-solidified layer to ensure compaction of the coating and deeper penetration of the composition into the substrate, heat treatment of the compacted coating and final firing. The last layer of the multilayer coating is subjected to high-temperature firing in an atmosphere of an inert gas, nitrogen or a vacuum.EFFECT: invention enables to form a ground coat and an overcoat with improved physical-mechanical and tribotechnical properties.2 cl, 3 tlb, 9 ex
