METHOD OF DRESSING HIGH-SLIME POTASSIUM-BEARING ORES

FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flotation of minerals and may be used for concentration of, mainly, potassium ores. Proposed method comprises crushing, pre-grading to produce undersize and oversize fractions, additional grinding of the latter to separate them into two ore flows, combining undersize of second grading stage with that of pre-grading (1^st ore flow), desludging of the latter to produce foamy waste sludge and chamber product, and flotation of sylvite. Prior to desludging, ore with content of up to 16% of repellant is divided into two flows. Pre-grading is performed to -0.63 mm while two-stage sizing of additionally ground oversize fraction is performed to -0.63 mm and +0.63-1.2 mm. Thereafter, 2^nd ore flow is suspended by saturated solution to density of L:S=0.75-0.80, held therein for at least 3 minutes and directed to attritioning by intensive mixing accompanied by ore suspension flushing in adding saturated solution to suspension density L:S=1.4-1.8. Then, ore suspension is treated by reagents, desludged and thickened to density L:S=0.75-0.80. Desludged 2^nd ore flow is treated by reagents and combined with camber product. Sylvite is extracted from combined ore flow. Combined flows of foamy sludge products are flushed and thickened before putting in storage.;EFFECT: higher efficiency, decreased losses of useful component.;4 cl, 1 dwg
