FIELD: power industry.;SUBSTANCE: two water wall sections are manufactured by welding semi-U-bends to sections; boiler plant is shutdown and circulating pump is stopped; boiler is cooled down during 2-3 days; heat carrier (water) is drained from the boiler sections; U-bends attaching the headers of water wall section to water wall circulating section are detached; upper part of the boiler setting is disassembled; water wall sections are removed from furnace volume and new water wall sections are installed in their places; headers of the sections are connected by means of U-bends and setting of the boiler upper part is recovered.;EFFECT: development of heating surface enlarging method.;2 dwg
