METHOD OF PREDICTING CONTROL OF BRONCHIAL ASTHMA COURSE

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pulmonology and can be used for predicting control of bronchial asthma (BA) course. For this purpose volume of forced expiration for the first second (VFE1) is determined in % from proper value. After that, bronchoprovocation test by 3-minute isocapnic hyperventilation with cold air is performed. Test results are used to determine change of forced expiration volume for the first second (ΔVFE1) in % from initial value. Inspiration-expiration test is performed by means of lung computer tomography. Coefficient of variation (υ) between densitometric parameters of six zones of lungs in inspiration phase of respiration is determined. After that, total difference (TD) between densitometric parameters in medium zones of both lungs at inspiration and expiration to densitometric parameter at inspiration is calculated and expressed in percent. Discriminant equation is solved: D=1287×υ+213×TD+VFE1+1.25×ΔVFE1 and if D value equals or is higher than 139.2, controlled course of bronchial asthma for 12-14 months is predicted, if D is lower than 139.2, absence of control over bronchial asthma course is predicted.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict course of said disease in remote period of time and in case of necessity activate pathogenetically substantiated therapy in due time.;2 ex, 1 tbl
