FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration of minerals and may be used for sorting gold-bearing mined rock at gold-mining plants. Proposed method comprises making portions of mined rock, estimating its quality in said portions and their addressing by classification rules. Mined rock portion addressing is performed by gold content defined by equations of gold correlation with separation symbol. For this, magnitude of separation symbol is defined in every portion while, in mining, ores are subjected to advance certification by blasting well slime to refine outlines of different-quality ores. Grade plans of gold distribution are worked out for ore of blocks prepared for processing by magnitude of separation symbol. Objects of grading are defined to effect selective sampling of ore in dump trucks and products of lump separation. Equations of gold correlation with separation symbol for large-portion grading and lump separation are corrected. Ore is selectively excavated to perform lathe-portion grading of mined rock in transport flow by gamma-activation or X-ray radiometric method.
