A body coating is designed for at least partial envelopment and coating of a part of a human body and/or a body support, and comprises a number of mated flexible parts of a modular coating. Each part of the modular coating comprises a flexible substrate and a number of electroluminescence sources attached to the substrate for illuminating at least a part of the human body.
