FIELD: electrical engineering.;SUBSTANCE: method for manufacture of a fibre oxide-nickel electrode for an alkaline nickel-cadmium accumulator includes nickel pickling of a graphitised viscose material, the electrode pasting with nickel hydroxide using spherical nickel hydroxide with average particle size equal to 6.0-9.0 mcm, the electrode shaping, washing and drying.;EFFECT: improved cyclic, resource and specific capacitance characteristics of fibre oxide-nickel electrodes of nickel-cadmium accumulators due to usage of spherical nickel hydroxide.
