FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be applied for surgical treatment of paralytic strabismus with application of vertical muscles. Tendons of upper and lower rectus muscles are entirely dissected from sclera and moved 4 mm towards parstic muscle with 3 mm prorrhaphy towards limb, 6-8 mm recession of muscle-antagonist of parstic muscle is simultaneously performed, muscles being fixed in such a way that muscular fibres are located perpendicular to limb.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to eliminate diplopia.;1 dwg
