FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, in particular, to controlled fire monitors. The fire monitor comprises an inlet nozzle installed on the support structure, intermediate and output nozzles and two rotary units (hinged joints). Hinged joints are arranged oppositely to each other at the angle different from 90° and are made as capable of rotation. The monitor is made as capable of changing the angle of output nozzle axis with an attachment along the vertical line by means of simultaneous rotation of two hinged joints. Displacement of the angle of the output nozzle axis is compensated by horizontal displacement of the bent output nozzle with the attachment. It may be compensated due to rotation of the hinged joint, the axis of which is inclined towards the vertical line, by rotation of the hinged joint with the vertical axis of rotation to the opposite side.;EFFECT: makes it possible to reduce resistance and occurrence of turbulence of a fire extinguishing substance flow, and accordingly to increase jet distance, reduced quantity and value of bends also results in lower labour intensiveness and metal intensity when manufacturing the proposed fire monitor and increases its compactness.;1 dwg
