FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: straight-run petrol is mixed with a component which contains one or more substances selected from a group of acetyl acetonates of 3d metals of general formula M(C5H7O2)n, where n=2-3, in amount of 10-12 wt %, and oxygenates in form of a mixture of C2-C8 aliphatic alcohols which make up the balance.;EFFECT: use of said additive increases the octane number of lead-free base engine fuel, chemical resistance and low toxicity of the used components, and also facilitates domestic industrial production of components of domestic petrol brands.;1 cl, 1 ex, 1 tbl
