METHOD OF ARTHRODESIS OF PROXIMAL RADIOULNAR ARTICULATION IN CHILDREN WITH FLACCID PARALYSIS OF UPPER EXTREMITY

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics and can be used for creation of arthrodesis of proximal radioulnar articulation in children with flaccid paralysis of upper extremity. Longitudinal bed is formed in external part of ulnar bone metaphysis by removal of cortical layer. After that, cortical layer is removed from head and neck of radial bone with its further relocation in radioulnar articulation and fixation to ulnar bone metaphysis with compressing screw until decorticated surfaces contact in functionally favourable position of forearm.;EFFECT: method ensures increase of amplitude of movements in ulnar joint, elimination of vicious position of forearm in children with flaccid paralysis of upper extremity.;6 dwg
