FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically cardiology. Radiofrequency denervation of the renal arteries is performed in the patient. A flexible balloon behind an electrode catheter tip is inserted into the renal artery. Immediately before radio frequency signal injection, the balloon is inflated using pressurised saline injected through the catheter. The circulation is temporarily arrested. That is followed by radio frequency ablation at signal power 7.5 Wt and temperature 70°C.;EFFECT: method allows for treating essential arterial hypertension by creating the necessary temperature to the maximum allowable, however wall-preserving radio frequency signal power level for the complete paralytic denervation of the sympathetic efferent nerve fibres of the renal arteries.;1 ex, 1 dwg
