The mirror cabinet has a frame-shaped housing and a mirror that is held at the housing in pivoted manner through hinges. The housing walls (21,22,24) are fixed to each other by corner joints. A lamp is arranged either at the lateral housing wall or upper housing wall. Multifunctional angle elements (25,26,27,28) are provided as corner joints. Each angle element is made of two brackets (25',26',27',28'). Units are provided for retaining a hinge socket (11',12') for hinges. The angle elements are made of cast part of metal or plastic.
